At Queens Preparatory Academy, we value and nurture youth leadership.  Our scholars have many pathways to exercise leadership and use their voice to create positive change for themselves, their school and the community.  We believe leadership resides in every scholar.  Give young people opportunities  to cultivate their leadership qualities, you give them the power to change the world.

Community Service and Active Citizenship

"I am what I am because of what we all are"- African Proverb.   At the heart of Queens Preparatory Academy is our core value of community.  We teach our scholars that community  is formed and nurtured with how we show up, support and help one another.

We guide our scholars through our advisory program to perform 100 hours of Community Service by participating in  our school's community service events and finding their own.
