SCHOOL LEADERSHIP TEAM
SCHOOL LEADERSHIP TEAM 2020-2021
What is a School Leadership Team?
The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a school-based organization composed of parents, teachers, and school leaders. The SLT determines the structure for school-based planning and shared decision making, in addition to developing educational policies for their school. They also make sure there are resources to support those policies.
SLTs:
- Provide ongoing evaluations of a school’s educational programs and their impact on student achievement.
- Play an important role in school-based decision-making
- Help to make school cultures more collaborative.
Queens Prep SLT Meetings are held once a month. Now our monthly SLT meeting is held [virtually] every third Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
